Preferred room and roommate description

Student/worker preferred. We are mature, quiet, considerate students/professionals. We prefer an international student with minimum, intermediate English level & some computer skills. All other men welcome too. I was an ESL teacher before, like the arts & finished graduate school in Education & Ecology. (Optional: If you would like to do computer tutoring, I can correct your English as an exchange.) Rent includes high speed internet, computer with XP/Ubuntu, shared phone & cable TV, utilities, linens, bicycle. This is a comfortable, older, 900 sq. ft. apt. The rental fee is quite cheap for Vancouver, the most expensive city in Canada. If you pay several months in advance, your rent can be reduced. We each cook a nutritious meal once a week for everyone. You will save time, energy & money while staying healthy with our shared, cooking arrangement. (Basic cooking can be learned quickly.) We eat whenever we have time as our schedules vary & we're busy, however we enjoy sharing a meal when time permits. Our style is friendly & focused on studies/work & the atmosphere is like a mini-library. If you'd like to reduce your rent somewhat, we can sometimes offer you some extra work, such as computer assistance, gardening, baking, cooking or cleaning. This place will suit a community-minded individual who likes learning about other people & cultures as we usually have an international mix. Six nights a week you would come home to a cooked meal that you'd just heat up. Socializing is outside home only due to study schedules, but there are many coffee shops & inexpensive restaurants within a short walking distance. Community centre with gym is nearby. Pool is 20 minutes' away by frequent transit. No smoking anywhere, inside or outside, no drinking, no drugs, 100% respectful language. Suitable for single fellow without children or pets.
