La Maison Charlotte is a century old house, who caters to serious students. Because of it's prior vocation, the house is appropriately divided to welcome guests. First, it is located downtown Ottawa, in a beautiful neighborhood, fifteen minutes walk to the market or Ottawa U, and two minutes walk to Rideau St, a major bus artery and shopping area. From our windows, you can admire the lovely MacDonald park, just across the street, the skyline of the city and the steeple of the parliament building.

The house offers all the amenities of a modern home: wireless internet, cable tv, , shredder, barbecue, library, storage, bicycles and a lovely garden. The rooms are located on the second and third floor. They are accessible through a private entrance. The rooms are spacious, totally renovated and feature hardwood floors, high ceiling with crown moldings, ceiling fans, washbasin and refrigerator in each room, ample closet space, bed, nighttable, desk and bedding. On each floor, there is a newly renovated kitchen equipped with all of the necessities to prepare a meal. Each floor also has its own living room and dining room. Both bathrooms are divided into two rooms: one for the shower and the second for the toilet. Keep in mind that every room has a washbasin, preventing congestion in the morning. The laundry room is located in the basement. Finally we have housekeeping. Therefor, common areas are always impeccable. Rent starts from 500$ to 650$.

We, the owners, live on the main floor and look after the different needs of our guests. Being conscious of the environment, we take great care in preserving our earth by recycling, saving energy, water, planting trees and finally by informing our friends, guests and family.
